At the close in Lima, the rose 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the were Buenaventura (LM:), which rose 3.34% or 0.430 points to trade at 13.300 at the close. Meanwhile, Unacem (LM:) added 3.06% or 0.080 points to end at 2.690 and Minsur (LM:) was up 2.31% or 0.030 points to 1.330 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Relapasa (LM:), which fell 3.92% or 0.010 points to trade at 0.245 at the close. Casa Grande (LM:) declined 2.09% or 0.160 points to end at 7.500 and Atacocha (LM:) was down 1.79% or 0.006 points to 0.330.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 17 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.98% or 1.94 to $46.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $48.53 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1277.70 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.3615, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.6849.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.01% at 98.32.
