The best performers of the session on the were Bombardier Inc (TO:), which rose 7.14% or 0.120 points to trade at 1.800 at the close. Meanwhile, HudBay Minerals Inc. (TO:) added 6.13% or 0.30 points to end at 5.19 and Air Canada (TO:) was up 4.33% or 0.440 points to 10.600 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IAMGold Corporation (TO:), which fell 4.16% or 0.230 points to trade at 5.300 at the close. Teck Resources Ltd (TO:) declined 3.82% or 0.94 points to end at 23.65 and OceanaGold Corporation (TO:) was down 3.67% or 0.150 points to 3.940.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Toronto Stock Exchange by 635 to 490 and 142 ended unchanged.

Gold for December delivery was down 0.41% or 5.40 to $1320.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.33% or 0.16 to hit $47.99 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.34% or 0.17 to trade at $49.98 a barrel.
CAD/USD was up 0.14% to 0.7617, while CAD/EUR rose 0.01% to 0.6779.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 95.39.
